Patrick Harding is a Performance Coach with over 12 years’ experience working in the elite sporting environment. His academic background includes a Diploma in Applied Physiology and Health Science, a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Strength and Conditioning.
He has a strong background in contact-based sport, previously working in professional rugby union and Australian Rules Football (AFL) in Sydney, Australia. As the Lead Physiotherapist for Team GB’s Canoeing squad for the Rio 2016 Olympic cycle he was an accredited Team GB member at the Rio Olympics culminating in the sports most successful games in British Olympic history, winning 2 gold and 2 silver medals.
Following the Rio Olympics, he spent 2 seasons with Arsenal Football Club in the English Premier League supporting the physical development of professional footballers competing in the highest tier of the game.
In recent years he has developed his individual athlete management portfolio moving into Formula 1 Motorsport as a Performance Coach with Honda and Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, professional boxing and the European PGA Tour amongst others.
Outside of the practical delivery of performance support he has lectured extensively on undergraduate and post graduate University programs as well as being the Co-Lead Director of Education for SPORTTAPE UK.
